The Green Slime gets no respect. The film has Richard Jaeckel, who in my opinion should have had an Academy award tailor made for his character appearances. I'm in the minority but I'm hyped about this release. I'd be real excited about the Philadelphia Story too, though.

Granted, those are unworthy of blu-ray, but surely you can see why Philadelphia Story and Bringing Up Baby were bypassed in favor of C.H.U.D.!

It looks like Warner is releasing that great film through Criterion so that's one more to mark off the list.

When does the next Criterion Newsletter come out?

The newsletter came out yesterday.

The clue showed what appeared to be Ben Franklin, holding a sandwich (cheesesteak?), about to tell a story.

Of course, we see what we want to see, so it could be something completely different.

I wouldn't expect another newsletter (or clue) until next month.
