Previous to receiving a Blu-ray of Zoo today from CBS/Paramount, I was oblivious to its existence.
Beautiful packaging, especially for those who appreciate artfully created slips.
Very interesting dypsopian premise, based upon a novel by James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge.
After viewing a bit, I checked reviews, and found that The NY Times seems to be in focus with a comment that it combines The Birds with Taken.
My sampling of the first episode confirmed enough to have me go back for more.
As a Blu-ray, especially for a digitally produced series, shot with an Alexa in 1080p, it shines. Up-rezzing to 4k appears better than streamed Netflix 4k productions, crossing the line as "pure" 4k.
I look forward to viewing the rest of the season.
