It's sad, actually.
I've always enjoyed Ellen Degeneres' work, but now finding that her short-term memory affliction (it's all over the web) has affected her voicing of Dory, with the poor little tang's halting vocal mannerisms, probably adding five minutes to the films 97 minute running time...
It's just sad.
Last time, it was a problem with Nemo, who is now back to try to help Ellen find her way through a maze of interconnected worlds, controlled by Sigourney Weaver.
Great vocal talent, combined with the latest in Pixar's hand-drawn technology, which creates a wonderfully digital look from tens of thousands of hand-drawn cells and backgrounds, adds up the a superb entertainment.
The Blu-ray looks superb, with a brilliant spectrum of colors -- the film was finished in 4k, and would make a wonderful candidate once Disney goes that route -- and with a robust DTS-HD MA 7.1, replacing an original Dolby Atmos mix.
One would expect no problems here, and there are none to be found.
A gorgeous Blu-ray offering.
