Not Reds, the Warren Beatty magnum opus, but Red (2010), and Red 2 (2013).

Lest anyone be unaware, Red, directed by Robert Schwentke, and Red 2 (Dean Parisot) are fun-filled spy vs spy romps, that remind me of the best adventures of Wile E. Coyote and Roadrunner.

Bruce Willis and Mary-Louise Parker lead a cast inclusive of John Malkovich in continuously moving international thrillers with a bent on the humorous.

Shot on 35, and finished in 2k, Lionsgate (Summit) does their normal, very high-end take on creating a superior 4k experience.

These films are just plain old (loud) fun, based upon the graphic novel by Warren Ellis and Cully Hamner.

Imagery is superb, with rich blacks, and perfect colors. Grain is proper. Audio in Dolby Atmos is huge and spot on.

The point should be made, that I viewed not in Dolby Vision, but in HDR10.

Image - 5 (Dolby Vision)

Audio - 5 (Dolby Atmos)

4k - 5

Pass / Fail - Pass

Upgrade from Blu-ray - 5

Highly Recommended
