Just curious.
I love Deniro, so I bought it today...pretty much blind, I don't even remember seeing the trailers.

I saw it in the theater, and plan on picking up the DVD as soon as some of my credit cards get wiped.
It's not your typical De Niro movie, but I enjoyed it. Your mileage may vary.
I interviewed Oleg Taktarov (who plays Oleg Razgul, the wannabe director/thug in the film) about a year ago. We spoke mainly of his life in the Ultimate Fighting circuit, which I report on. Talented guy, but he definitely took more than his fair share of beatings. I'm glad to see him get such a huge opportunity in Hollywood.

I picked this one up Tuesday and thought it was pretty good. I was really impress when I found an explantion of widescreen in the set up menus... A very nice touch.

Hadn't heard much about this title but picked it up last week. Watched it last night and really enjoyed it. Sure there are some flaws but a really enjoyable movie nonetheless. Transfer and sound were excellent.

As a blind purchase for me I was totally impressed. I thought the movie was very entertaining and the DVD is top notch in the transfer department. The sound is pretty darn good also.

Just watched it. Wild show, quite demented, stellar audio/video transfer. For a wild bass ride with cool techno music I highly recommend cranking up the end sequence as it cuts from the crowd to the credits.

Heh Jay! Funny thing I just finished viewing this tonight. Great sound throughout, definitely a wild bass ride at different times throughout the movie. Very enjoyable.

Also one of the best transfers I have seen and a set of extras that are very interesting.

Just watched 15 Minutes on dvd and WoW does it have a good demo scene at Chapter 16.

That Apartment Fire and Explosion really rattled my house with my SVS/ Velodyne sub combo. Its the first dvd that put my AudioSource 5.3 amp into the peak zone.

The movie is completely over-the-top but its fun and furious, worth a rental.

I borrowed it from a friend and hated it. It was just as bad as all the non-US critics made it out to be. It's late so I won't go into details but this simply was not a good movie. It's really irritating when a film attempts to cover a comtemporary "hot" topic only to fail miserably, resorting instead to Z-grade buddy dramatics and basically becoming a convoluted action thriller. It seems that with this and Showtime, De Niro needs to do another mob movie to get back on track. :)

I liked this film, although it was a bit confused (it seemed to be making a statement against the glorification of violence in the media, yet was very violent itself). The disc is great: killer video and very good audio. Nice Infinifilm material.

DeNiro was great, and the two Eastern European actors were absolutely phenomenal, especially Karel Roden (Emil).

Like Jay says, the end credit sequence is great techno/remix bass material.

It was ok... Maybe 2.5-3 stars. Dark humour.

I saw it on one of the premium cable nets a couple weeks back... Forgot which...

I'd been tempted to buy it for awhile, sight unseen, but am glad I saw it on cable instead. Probably wouldn't watch it again.

I really liked it but had no expectations going in. Great transfer, and lots of extras too.
I may be in the minority here but I actually enjoyed the movie and its plot. :)

15 Minutes is a good example of wasted talent. Ed Burns is a pretty decent actor and we all know Mr. DeNiro is a legend. You'd think it would be easy to throw them in a movie and have an instant hit. Too bad that aint the case.
The movie was terrible, regardless if it had an excellent tranfer and a great soundtrack. I'm not even sure if I could say it's worth a rental. It's really that bad.
I'd put this up there with The Mexican. Another example of a wasted opportunity. Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts and James Gandolfini(?did i spell that right?) are all great actors, but the movie was dull and boring. I don't know, maybe it's just me.
I'm not too jazzed about seeing 'Showtime', it looks like a comedy-version of 15 Minutes. DeNiro definately needs to make a good movie soon. Something like 'Heat' or 'Casino' , but the way things are going it'll probably be 'Meet The Parents Part 2'
