According to this story at USA Today of the 165 titles that were scheduled to be released on Tuesday 12/27 (the "normal" new release day), 33 were bumped up to Monday 12/26 to take advantage of the heavy traffic in stores during the post-Christmas sales and returns time. Does anyone know exactly which titles got moved up? Toy Story 2 is a definite buy for me.

Both sets of releases will be included in the Christmas morning version of the Weekly RoundUp in Coupons & Bargains! :D

From comingsoon.net:

December 26
- 2046
- American Pie Presents: Band Camp
- Black Dawn
- Bram Stoker's Dracula/Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (Double Feature)
- Dark Water
- Diary of a Mad Black Woman, The Play
- Empire of the Wolves
- Grizzly Man
- Happy Here and Now
- Into the Blue
- SeaQuest DSV: Season One
- The Shield: Season Four
- Toy Story 2: Special Edition
- Tracey Takes On: The Complete First Season
- Undiscovered

December 27
- Ab-Normal Beauty
- America's Funniest Home Videos: Volume 2
- Chicago Boricua
- Criss Angel Mindfreak: The Complete Season One
- Nowhere Man: The Complete Series
- Pterodactyl
- The Twilight Zone: The Definitive Edition - Season 5

This is not my complete list of titles for those two days...but pretty darn close (all I could put together on a moment's notice). There's a whole slew of Buena Vista "B" titles hitting next week, too.

Is Mary Shelley's Frankenstein from that set a widescreen version? I've had a hard time coming across this film in its OAR for some reason. I don't have Dracula either, so this would be a definite buy for me.

I wonder how many stores will skip the 12/26 release date after years of always doing new releases on Tuesday?

^ All I gotta say is that the stores in my neck of the woods better stick to that 12/16 street date for seaQuest. That is the only thing I'm getting this week and I plan on making it halfway through the season before Monday is over.

Brett,

I have a copy of the widescreen/fullscreen flipper of MS's Frankenstein available if you still need it. Never been watched. I impulse-bought it about 4 months ago but I'm trying to thin my collection out now.
