Where to get good corner speaker shelves?

I'm looking to mount my 2 JBL S38IIs in the corners of my HT room. To that end, I'm looking for a pair of corner shelves to put them on. I've looked on the web for "corner shelves" and got a staggering 3800 web sites. Does anyone have any experience to share in this? Thanks!

Movies to test my new home theater

I did a search and didn't see anything so here is goes: I just got done assembling my new home theater and I'm looking for advise on movies that will really "test" it. In other words, movies with good surround effects, deep base (for the subwoofer) etc. All opinions are welcome! Thanks.

    DD EX question

I have a question about Digital Dolby EX. My understanding is that DD EX is a 6.1 (matrix) format. My receiver a Yamaha HTR-5560, is supposedly DD EX compatible. However, I never get any sound out of the middle back speaker with DD EX movies. I've tried Monster's Inc, Toy Story 2, and Cast Away...

DVD request: Darby O'Gill - Disney

It would be a great idea for Disney to release "Darby O'Gill and the Little People" on DVD. Around St. Patrick's Day, the Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Library checks out over 100 copies! We would buy it immediately, it is a St. Paddy's day favorite of ours! Thanks.

    Question about 6.1

    6.1 question

All, I am confused about the whole 6.1 matrix, descrete thing. After reading the primers, etc., I'm still confused. I am thinking about buying the HTR-5560 from Yamaha as my receiver. However, it seems like it is only matrix 6.1. Now, I've read here that there is very little audio difference...

    12 gauge vs 14 gauge

I'm hooking up my HT in a 20 x 12 room. I have all of the equipment bought save for the wiring. I am hooking up a 6.1 setup. The question is: Do I have much (if anything) to gain from buying 12 gauge speaker vs 14 gauge? 12 is significantly more expensive and I'm not sure if it would help me...

    Set adivce/comments

Moved this from HT build forum. JK All, First, let me say I'm excited to have discovered this forum. It looks like a real great place to exchange ideas/information on Home Theater in an adult way. I have done a lot of research and listening to maximize the quality vs cost of this system...
