I'm looking for a pair of inexpensive outdoor speakers to replace ones that were mounted on the back of my house by my deck. I've looked at several brands of outdoor speakers and whether they say weather "resistent" or weather "proof" they all say that they shouldn't get rained on. I'm not sure...
I have HTD level III towers, center, and level III mains for surrounds, all powered by a Denon 3802. Also, I have a SVS PB2+ in the corner. It sounds pretty good to me, but always looking to improve. Would it be more worthwhile to buy a multichannel amp or do I need to upgrade to better speakers?
I think I'm going to have to jump on these new deals for the Infocus 4805 and 76" screen, but need a little advice first. 1. My primary seating will be approximately 12' from the screen. I will probably start with the free 76" screen, but how large do you think I could go at that distance...
I am considering making the move from a rear projection tv to a projector. I live in northern Virginia and would like to find a place that I could actually audition various models. Any suggestions?

Is there any benefit, spl or other wise, to positioning the sub a certain way (right-side up, on it's top w/ base plate removed etc.)? I would be interested in trying it with my pb2+. ps. hey Mark, where in N. Va are you located?
Hey Ed, I'de love a copy of that organ CD if possible. I tried to get to the tree thread a couple weeks ago, but it was locked. I'll be happy to pay any expenses, I just want more cools stuff to try out on the new pb2+.
This may be a dumb question, but I've never used one. I know you can record 2 channels at the same time or watch one while recording the other, but can you watch 2 channels at the same time w/POP. I have a Toshiba 57h81 w/POP and want to be able to split the screen to watch 2 channels at one for...
