Now the problem isn't major now, but I'm afraid it could turn into something major in the future. My roomate came up to me saying that there was no sound coming out of the speakers. I figured they messed with some setting on the tv or reciever since they're always changing stuff around. I...
So I finally got a subwoofer and decided that it was about time I calibrated my speakers. Right now I just have the Axiom 22's for the mains and the jbl pb-10 for the sub, hooked up to an Onkyo 595. I buy the AVIA disk and an SPL meter and get ready to party. Now, I finished calibrating it...
Finally decided to complete my home theater and I'm having trouble getting a sub. Originally I thought just go for the sony wm40, but lately I've been thinking to get something a little better. I live in an apartment, and the living room is about 15X15, then it opens into another room in...
Just like the question, has anyone ever heard of them, I'm looking for a subwoofer and have seen the Dahlquist PDQ1200 400 Watt Peak Power for a decent price, but i've never heard of them, its a 12 inch woofer, does anyone have any info. Also, would this be too much for an apartment, i only...
I finally got my reciever and mains hooked up and decided I need a subwoofer, the m22s sound great but little bass. Anyway, I was wondering how safe it was to buy a used sub. Since some people might really push them, would a year old sub be safe to buy, or should I just get a new one...
Thanks for the replies I was thinking of building my own, but I'm at school now and don't have access to any tools, and it will be three weeks before I go home again, and I can't wait that long to start using these. Thanks
I finally got a receiver, speakers, and cables, now all I need are speaker stands. After deciding on everything else I thought this would be easy, but no, it's not allowed to be. I bought the Axiom m22s and think 18" stands will be the best height, but I can't decided on what types of stands...
I'm trying to decide on a receiver, and since I hate parting with money it takes me forever to decided on any major purchase,
but I saw the above receiver on ebay for $300 slightly used, is it worth getting, or should i spend my money elsewhere. I was looking at getting this model, or a new...
Instead of starting a new thread I might as well ask my question here.
I'm getting some Axiom m22's and I'm looking for stands and I noticed that the axiom's base are larger than most top plates of stands, is this normal?
Another question, are 20" stands to high for the axiom's, considering...
500-600 is way too high, i think i can go 300-400. I'm a sophmore in college now and i just want something to get me through school and then when after I graduate get a real serious system. I'll take a look at the kenwood's, but I want to try to stay on budget.
Thanks for the help
