Finally decided to complete my home theater and I'm having trouble getting a sub.

Originally I thought just go for the sony wm40, but lately I've been thinking to get something a little better.

I live in an apartment, and the living room is about 15X15, then it opens into another room in the back. So I was thinking I needed something with decent punch, but I won't be able to play anything too loud in an apartment.

I want to limit myself to about 250 if possible, but if i think its worth it i will go to 300. I'm looking for any info or adivce, thanks.

The JBL PB12 in J&R goes for $300 with shipping. And in etronics for $248 + 50 shipping almost the same. Good Sub, not so big punch, but decent. If you could stretch it to $500 go for an SVS 25-31PCi.
