The next season begins tonight, 6/15, at 10:00 on Spike. This time there are two contestants. Here's a discription from tvtome.com:
Quote:
In a parody of reality-romance programs, the two new marks believe they are on a program called Last Chance for Love. What they don't know is that they have actually been cast and Joe and Jane Schmo and they are the only real people on program filled with actors and actresses. They're once again playing reality-show stereotypes, such as the Gotta-Be Gay Guy and The Weeper. Familiar parody-elements return including ridiculous competitions and over-dramatized eviction ceremonies - the "Pearl Necklace" and "Flame of Love" ceremonies. And given the type of show, it wouldn't be complete without "shocking" twists - this time in the form of the Falcon Twist, perhaps a parody of the apple of Eden. Also present is host Ralph Garman, returning in disguise as Derek Newcastle, the "pompous but randy British host."

Can't wait.

I thought it was hilarious. The pearl necklace thing was hysterical. I like the new Schmoes as well.

Ingrid. Cleavage. Mmmmmm.

I thought this episode was funnier than any from last season.

That ending was awesome.

Ingrid: "This feels like the Truman show."
(all producers and actors collectively going "Oh shit.")

"Would you like a pearl necklace?"

I wouldn't have been able to keep from loosing it!

I hate the host, last years was MUCH better. Not so over the top.

The drunk was TOO drunk!

cool

I'm pretty sure it is the same actor, just playing a different character.

I thought this was a hilarious episode as well: pearl necklace, banana lap dance, kicking off all the people of color, "the most shcking eviction ceremony yet."

Also, doesn't hurt that Ingrid is beautiful.

Yes the host is the same guy, I can't believe they are getting away with that as both my wife and I instantly recognized him.

That stalker character is absolutely hilarious. The hypnotist angle is very funny.

I liked it but I don't think anybody can take the place of Matt Kennedy Gould from the first one. He MADE that show all by himself.

I hate the host, last years was MUCH better. Not so over the top.

I'm really surprised that anyone who saw the first Joe wouldn't instantly recognize him. I'm no expert but that sure does seem like a pretty lame English accent to me.

That was great, I can see this one surpassing last seasons. Looks like they did another great job on casting, both the actors and schmo's.

I wish the drunk would have stayed around longer... so much potential.

"Derek Newcastle" and the "falcon twist" were hilarious.

I love Ralph's host character. I busted up just about every time he spoke. Bryce 'The Stalker' is great. I hope they keep him on for a while. I think this season is gonna be great.

I think Ralph's host is pretty good but I'd sure as hell hope that they managed to be sure not to get a Schmoe that had regularly watched the first season.

I'm pretty sure I'd spot Ralph.

The set is way too similar to the first show, including the eviction room with the show name on frosted glass.

Except for the stalker, I think the characters in the first season were better. I also think Matt was the perfect ruse, and the new pair aren't as interesting (well, there is one new 'pair' that is).

I can't see this topping the first one.

Ingrid is definitely sharp and suspicious. That could make things interesting...we'll have to see.

For anyone interested, DVD talk has a review of the first seasons 'uncensored' dvds.
