I wonder as a PS+ member, who will not have a PS4, if I can still somehow add the free PS4 games to my account, so that if I ever do get a PS4, they will be instantly available to download.

I'm hoping so. I know currently you can "download" a free game, cancel the download as soon as it started so it's never installed on your PS3, but available to you after the fact in your PSN "Downloaded" list to "re-download" later. I've been doing that bit.

I haven't tried it with Vita games though, since I don't have a vita, but that should work since they install on the PS3 to be dumped across. I think. So I'm guessing the same thing should work for the PS4, unless you can't access the PS4 part of the PSN without a system.

You should be able to do that via the Sony Entertainment Network website, I have 'purchased' PS3 games that way. If you don't have a Vita see if you can buy a vita game from the marketplace now.

Right, but that's to be expected since PSP games were originally set to download from a PS3 host and not via direct network download.

Damn. I guess it was a good thing that I skipped buying BF3; although, I was tempted to get it just for the eye candy alone. I'm not much of an online player. I prefer single player campaigns. Online play reminds me of being in P.E in high school. There is no way to have any fun because of all the mindless jocks, who turn everything into a pissing contest. These things are supposed to be fun, not a chore to play because some guy thinks he is Sgt. Rock and starts cursing you out because you don't have the time or dedication to become a professional video game soldier.

You will find a veritable flood of used PS3s on the market on November 16th. Buy a new one at $230 is my advice, don't spend over $100 on a used one.

Yup, this is the future of digital distribution. Steam's been like this for 5 years now, glad to see the console manufacturers waking up.

Elastic pricing is awesome magic. Static pricing hamstrung by physical goods can't die soon enough.
