All those reviews PLUS Cameron's review of Boardwalk Empire have been added to the OP. Sorry, Matt. I was kinda rushing to get the thing posted last night and totally forgot.
Thanks so much, Mike!

Amazon has now dropped the price on its EXCLUSIVE Electro head release of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 to $74.99.

Anyone hear going to get this?!? Seems kinda high-priced--still.

I'm as close to a Spider-man buy everything person as it can get but no. Not buying that.

If it looked better I might have byt that thing looks awful.

Looks more like Foxx is constipated and stopped breathing causing him to turn blue.

Amazon and Best Buy both have Y Tu available for $19.99!

Y Tu is the movie that forced NC-17 into being. And shows why the MPAA is a joke.
I believe Philip Kaufman's Henry and June was the first to bear the NC-17 rating.

Spider Man and Toy Story of Terror shipped on Saturday, so they're coming for sure. That's it otherwise...I've added a crap ton of movies in the last week and need to sort them all out (and watch them!).

Thanks Mike!

I went on a motor trip through northern NY and Vermont a few days ago and had the opportunity to run into a few FYE stores that I don't normally get a chance to visit (Queensbury, NY & Burlington, VT).

FYE is currently having a "Buy 2 or more used DVD or Blu-rays, and get 30% off" sale. Plus I get another 10% off for being a backstage pass member.

Amazingly, I found Used Blus of Disney's Hercules ($10.71) and Tarzan ($11.34) and Three Musketeers ($10.70). I also scored the blu of the Criterion of Chaplin's Modern Times ($8.18!).

I got such good prices on those, I didn't mind paying routine prices (with my 10% off card) for the DisneyNature Bears and Ichabod/Fun & Fancy Free combo.

Good deals! I was at the South Burlington FYE (University Mall) a couple weeks ago, but didn't find anything to purchase. :(

Malcolm: One of these days, I'm still hoping for a chance to be able to hook up during one of my swings into your area. This trip was replete with the usual family/friends visits (my wife is from South Burlington).

I was just lucky to be able to sneak off for a couple quick visits to these two stores while I was excused from my ordinary "good husband" duties!

From what I remember when the need for an NC-17 type rating was being discussed, the two movies most associated with it were Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down! and Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer. They weren't porn but they were just too much for R's allowable under 17 with parent. Just like IJ and the Temple of Doom is associated with PG-13 because it was the movie that drove the need even though it never carried that rating.

We were in Costco last night and they had some Paramount titles on the rack. Anchorman 2 and Wolf of Wall Street BD's for $8.99. Nothing else really stood out for me.
