The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

And THAT'S how our game is played.

I made it a practice many years ago to exclude certain genres from the RoundUp...anime among them.

But if anyone here thinks a title is something others are interested in...please share your own research!

Thanks, Mark!

I'll be reviewing three of the Twilight Time releases, but, of course, they haven't gogtten to me yet. Requested another couple of this week's releases, but they too have been no shows.

I reviewed the original Blu-ray release of Dressed to Kill several years ago, but I'll eventually get the Criterion for the bonus features.

Thanks, Mike!

Thanks for the Round Up, Mike.

One correction: When I clicked on the Amazon link provided for Showrunners: The Art of Running a TV Show, it turned out to be a link for Angst instead.

Thanks for the prices. SHOCKER and DRESSED TO KILL. I also ordered 10 TO MIDNIGHT but I'm really not too happy having to pay $35 for an exploitation movie.

Thanks, Dave. Not sure when I'll get the chance to fix that link in the grid.

But HERE'S where people can go to Amazon's listing for Showrunners.

It looks interesting. Lots of high-profile TV people are interviewed.

There are Labor Day coupons to get an extra 15% off on a B&N order as well.

The problem is -- coupons don't work on Pre-orders and B&N Free nonmember shipping in $25.

A possible partial solution is that B&N coupon expire 3am Eastern while their Preorders often go live between Midnight and 1am so if you wait until the order, then you can use the 15% discount ($20.80 +tax). The shipping can be taken care of with a filler item if you need to order something else or better if you're a member it's FS anyway.

I do have extra discount codes or in-store coupons if anyone needs though there aren't any major sales for the weekend -- a couple small sales and individual items.

Thanks for your work, Mike.

The Goldbergs season 2 for me this week...but I might wait for a price drop. The first season set released last year is $9.99 now, so it may not be too long before this one drops too.

I'll definitely get this at some point, but like you, I'm waiting a bit. I really enjoy the show. It has a lot of heart and it's funny as well. I also enjoy the nostalgia of it.
