Another 10 excellent films but this time I’m sure they belong to the WAC catalog. They have not yet been released on blu-ray.

The Woman on the Beach (J. Renoir)
The Bounty Hunter (A. De Toth)
The Seventh Victim (M. Robson)
Anna Karenina (C. Brown)
The Lost Patrol (J. Ford)
The Informer (J. Ford)
Stella Dallas (K. Vidor)
Northwest Passage (K. Vidor)
David Copperfield (G. Cukor)
Macao (J.v Sternberg)

Personally, I wish Criterion would do The Informer but I'd settle for a WAC version.
I also think a blu ray of THE CROWD is deserved. Both films are on the National Film Registry list.

I'm not sure Warner can release Stella Dallas, a Samuel Goldwyn production. There is a major question as to whether Warner still has a distribution deal with the Goldwyn trust.

WAC released it on DVD in 2020, maybe something has changed since then. Hopefully we'll see it soon on blu-ray.

And there is also the poor condition of the Goldwyn Library to take into consideration (which Mr. Feltenstein and Robert Harris have mentioned in detail), which could keep films like Stella Dallas delayed for a long while.

I assume it may, in that case, be some time before The Little Foxes (1941) reaches blu-ray? What a pity. A magnificent film, and one near the top of my wishlist. As is Ball of Fire (1941), for some hoi toi toi...

Although a Fox release in 1941, I'd love to see this Technicolor classic Belle Starr given some love and restoration. This was Gene Tierney's first major film role, along side an amazing cast of era known charactor actors and of course Dana Andrews and the mighty Randolph Scott!!

If this is a Fox release, then why is it in this Warner thread?

I'm sorry but The Mask Of Dimitrios is not a strong contender. The elements are in poor condition and consequently the film had to wait ages before being released on DVD-R. I love the film and would be overjoyed if Warner suddenly discovered previously unknown pristine elements.

I hope Warner releases "The Searchers" onto 4K/UHD. The same with The Outlaw Josey Wales. For police procedurals type movies, I would like to see the original Dirty Harry and Bullitt released on 4K/UHD.
