In more mixed news...

(1) Check Amazon's digital buy for PS3! I bought AC4 Digital for PS3 on Amazon on sale this week for $29 with a small Christmas gift card. I then upgraded digital to PS4 for $9. Cheaper then buying it any other way.

(2) Good news for Sony, bad for MS: Tomb Raider is 1080P/60fps on PS4... it's 30fps and 900P on XBOX One, according to reports (Neogaf/Reddit/elsewhere)

Aaron mentioned a couple weeks ago about what speed you'd need for PS Now. I believe someone from Sony said the minimum is about 5 MB/s.

Thanks Sam. Snagged that one. The other day they had Assassins Creed 4 digital download for PS3 for $24.99. I bought it then did the digtal upgrade to PS4 for $9.99. Total=$34.98. Great deal.

Are you talking about the PS4 retread that is only a graphic upgrade? It's on sale now? It's a good game, but I'm not sure it is worth a repurchase just for a graphics boost. I wish they had just spent the time on a sequel.

They outsourced the next-gen port to two third-party developers. Crystal Dynamics IS working on the sequel. Also, its only been a year since it came out, so I doubt much time/money was really wasted on the rerelease.

It will probably help them turn a bigger profit on the first game so that a sequel could fare better. I missed out on it last year so I'm planning on grabbing it some time in the next couple months.

Knack is OK.
Injustice has some of the worst button controls ever, but it's decent fun.

In regards to Tomb Raider on the PS4.. I played through and beat it on the PC (@1440P) and the version on PS4 does look better; considerably better, despite the lower resolution. I have max settings on the PC, but it apperas as though most of the changes are with textures. There are also some added elements on the PS4 that change the gameplay a little, though the story is the same.

The good: it's beautiful, and I still love the gameplay, and seeing it on a 144" Projection screen is so much better than my PC monitor, it is immersive gaming just awesome.

The bad: Because I still remember this game pretty well, I'm cutting through it like butter, but that's OK, I mostly game for the story, not the difficulty

On a side note, Sony has to do something about the Playroom broadcasts. Either shut them down or something, because if you go into PlayStation Live on any night, but especially weekends, it's a large amount of live streaming porn and some of the most raist, hate mongering backtalk going on ever.
