(I would say something about how burning ANYTHING is completely bad for the environment, is not a great statement of anything except that you can pollute and work matches.. but that's a different story).

If I were the grounds keeper I would be FURIOUS. All that lighter fluid out on the turf as well as what they were trying to do.. man.

I've never heard of this incident or Rick Monday, but I applaud him for what he did, and his restraint. I'd have placed a flying knee into the back of whichever guy I could hit, from a full running start.

It's about something that happened during a Major League Baseball game in the 70s, these two guys made it onto the field, attempted to burn the American flag, and one of the players ran up behind them and grabbed the flag away before it lit.
