Help Setting Up Vizio Soundbar (1 Viewer)

Hi all —

I just purchased a Vizio V51x-J6 sound system and am having trouble connecting a Panasonic blu ray player model no. DP-UB420 and Panasonic television model number TC-P50S30 to it. Vizio suggests connecting the HDMI from the TV to the soundbar but that doesn’t work. Neither does connecting the HDMI audio out on the blu ray player to the soundbar. Vizio’s customer support was useless as all they said was contact Panasonic to ask them how to enable HDMI ARC but I can’t find a working phone number for them. Any help anyone can give me would be very gratefully appreciated. Thanks so much.
