After so much frustration from olive production, which owns the rights, the 1953 3d classic Money from Home is going to be fully restored in its 3d glory. Although it was intended to be presented in 1:66:1 it was never shown that way. It was recorded in stereo sound and the track is now lost. It was never released in that sound after it was recorded or remixed. So the 3D archives are not going to recreate that sound. It will be presented at 1:37:1 and with a mono sound. It will include an anaglyph version for those who don't have a 3d.equipment.

It was filmed for presentation in the standard academy ratio, and was not recorded in Stereophonic sound.
Is what the OP stated about MONEY FROM HOME (1953) being prepared for 3D home video release by the 3D Film Archive otherwise true, Bob? If so, this is huge news, especially after Paramount seemingly slammed the door shut on any such possibility a few years back!

CHEERS! :)
