My friend and I both own products using the VPL-VW11HT projection engine (he a projector, me a Grand Wega) and we cannot figure out how to properly calibrate these devices. I have AVIA, however, the instructional videos only seem to mention CRTs. What should we do?

Being the clever, but illogical thinker that I am, I decided that it would be MUCH more economical to buy 500 ft of RG-6 and then terminate it appropriateley and use it for audio, video, coax, bnc, and basically everything. My problem is - the only thing I know how to terminate it in is threaded...

Also, both the DVD player and the DirecTV reciever should be connected to your Onkyo using either digital optical or digital coax for the best audio reproduction. NOTE: Some DirecTV recievers do not have a digital audio out. If this is the case, just use regular audio cables.

While Jack is right, I don't think you should have a problem feeding your DVD player through your reciever. The 600 has 50 mhz (might be more) component video switching bandwith. That is WAY more than one needs to pass a 480i picture to your set (I think 480i needs roughly 10-15 mhz). As far...

For some reason, it seems as if the total sound output of my Denon is not what I expected it to be. The volume dial goes from -80.0 to 12.0 and I only begin to hear sound at arround -50.0. Is this normal? I find this strange considering the reciever is capable of handling 170 watts X 7 channels...
