I want to rewire all of my speaker cables with a higher guage. The consensus around here is 12 guage is fine for runs over 20 feet. My question is: Will there be any improvement 10 guage instead for everything up to 35 feet or will 12 guage be more than enough?

If needed, the speakers in question are Phase Tech Teatro 7.5 Fronts, Teatro 6.5 (I think) center, Teatro bipole surrounds and Wharfedale MFM 7 rear surrounds. The Teatros will be driven by an H/K AVR 520 in the next couple of months (or sooner) and the MFM 7's will be run by a JVC 884 receiver in stereo mode.

I have the bannana plugs and spade connectors ready for either guage wire I get.

Any advice will be appreciated.

The 12 gauge wire should be plenty. The 10 gauge, which probably cost more would be a waste of money IMO.
