Yamaha vs Onkyo (1 Viewer)

I sure could use some advice on buying a home theater receiver. I have been looking at the Yamaha Aventage Recevers for the past couple of weeks and now I have started reading a lot about the Onkyo 1030 Receiver. Now I have got so confused I don't know which way to go. I had the Yamaha RX-v477 and it went out on me less than a year old. I have been reading about the Dolby Atmos which the Onkyo supports also with Wi Fi and Bluetooth. Only the two upper end Yamaha supports just the Dolby Atmos. If anyone out there could sheed some light on this matter I would be very grateful

I would wait a few more weeks till all 2015 AVR are announced. It will be worth the wait.

Why not get the 477 warrantied?
