I've had my Yamaha RX-V1000 (international model (110v~240v
PAL/NTSC)) for about 10 months now.
I've got my VHS (Composite video ), cable tv (s-video & Composite video ), LD (s-video & Composite video) and DVD (s-video & Component) players hooked ipto it and the signal outputs go into the (sony) 16:9 TV.
Now my problem is a follows, when watching something through an s-video connection, sometimes, I see a "ghost" outline on the TV sceen, the ghost outline is a rough shape/copy of the image but at a lower resolution made up of little dots in the image.
I switch to composite or component and play the image through the RX-V1000 unit, no problem.
If I play s-video direct (from the LD player etc) into the TV, no problem.
Can anybody please advise. As this is driving me crazy. Like I said this has only just started, for the last 10 months or so I've had no problems. This has started in the last couple of weeks.
Please help.
Cheers
David
