WTB Polk RT800i (1 Viewer)

I want to buy or trade.
I have a pristine pair of RT1000i original owner,
I have all packaging/boxes/manuals.
Want to trade for a pair of pristine RT800i.
Or purchase for 400.-450.

Hi Miles, I have a pair of RT800i. But why would you like to go down a model? The 1000i are better than the 800i, since the 800i doesn't have a integrated powered subwoofer.
Are we sure we're talking about the polk audio models?

that is right. Some folks prefer the sound of the rt800is to the 1000i. I would think much of it would come down to setup, but perhaps it is due to some crossover variations within each speaker. In any case, one could not go wrong with either speaker. Good luck with your search.

Yes I'm running dual stand alone subs...so no need for more bass. I'm looking to up the midrange performance.

yup, sold mine to a friend locally. I moved them out yesterday and I must say I was sad to see them go. I used them for a long while and they were always solid. These are an absolute steal for under $500. Good luck w/ your search
