Would a "warriors 2" work in this day and age? (1 Viewer)

I loved the movie the warriors, it had that perfect feeling of the 70's and the music, no matter how cheesey it may have been, fit the mood of the movie perfectly.

Question is, could they re-make this movie today or spawn a sequel and would it work?
