Will There Be a Boys Don't Cry SE? (1 Viewer)

The current edition of Boys Don't Cry isn't exactly barebones. It has a commentary and featurette, but is missing a rather obvious extra for a movie based on a true story. Namely, a documentary about the actual events. I'd like to see a new edition with The Brandon Teena Story included if Fox can get the rights. (Currently held by Newvideo). Failing that, at least the 1995 version of Boys Don't Cry.

I have the current edition. The audio/video quality is stunning. The extras are a little missing though...

I'd buy a re-issue, but I doubt we'll see one anytime soon.

This 1995 version of the film, all the info I can find is the date and some of the actors. Was it a short film, or was it a full length independent film?
