Just got done watching FAME and thought what a great director Alan Parker is with most all of his films now out DVD except SHOOT THE MOON. This is a great film from 1983 with a powerful performance by Albert Finney. This is an MGM film I believe owned by Warner.

Now that Warner Bros. owns it, a high-quality release is very likely to happen soon. They're unquestionably the best home video label in the biz, and they know how to treat the jewels in their library....
