I imagine that Universal will get around to it sometime because it seems that they finally realized just how big the B-Movie nostalgia factor is in DVD sales these days.
I mean if they are going to re-release They Live as an SE DVD sometime in the future (this was said in these threads a while ago so anyone with more info please update us) then anything is possible.

The manager of my local Suncoast was overheard assuring another customer that an SE version of this title is in-the-works, as reported by the newsletter customers can get by signing up for their repeat purchaser club ("Replay", I think).
I take it with a grain of salt, as this is the same guy who assured me that there's no such thing as a Widescreen edition of "Cats & Dogs".

"Flash AhAh savior of the universe". This movie must be re-released on DVD. Hopefully Universal will lease this title to Anchor Bay.

While they're at it Universal may as well do a SE of
Buck Rogers in the 25th Century(Gil Gerard). Remember
Buck Rogers was released theatrically before it became a t.v. series.
And I don't know why the hell Universal is beating around the bush on the Battlestar Galactica t.v. series, I'd love to see that and Buck Rogers on DVD.
