I just bought a flat panel LCD, from a friend, to stick in my bedroom. All I have in this room is basic cable comming straight from my wall. The TV has a Coax connector on the back, but it doesn't have a cable tuner capabilities. My question is, can I use a cheap Jerrod cable box (ebay for $19.00) as a regular basic cable tuner?

Oh, and videophiles, please don't linch me just yet! I'm at least planning to hook up "over the air" HD by the end of the year. Finaly, I planning on getting one of these:

It's doesn't have a tuner installed either.
Thanks for the help guys!

Unfortunatley no. Besides, I'm having to think now. I'm thinking about getting the new Humax HFA100 OTA tuner and am wondering how I'm going to hook that and a cable tuner to my new display. And eventualy get Dish Network.
