The three-disc set contains all 22 first season episodes, plus never-before-seen bonus features, including the "Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell: Life in Suburgatory" featurette, unaired scenes and a “Suburban Slip-Ups” gag reel. Suburgatory: The Complete First Season is priced to own at $44.98 SRP.
Created and executive produced by Emily Kapnek (Parks & Recreation, Hung), this satirical comedy series centers on Tessa (Jane Levy -- Shameless, upcoming Fun Size), a witty New York City teenager who is perfectly at ease navigating her urban jungle hometown. So when her well-meaning dad, George (Jeremy Sisto -- Six Feet Under, Law & Order), relocates her to greener pastures, Tessa goes into culture shock. While the suburbs may be heaven for many, for Tessa, they represent her own unique version of hell. She and George wake up in a cookie-cutter world populated by pseudo-civilized suburbanites like well-meaning mom Dallas Royce (Cheryl Hines -- Curb Your Enthusiasm, Brothers & Sisters) and her pouty daughter, Dalia (Carly Chaikin -- The Last Song). Though slightly out of place in their new world, George and Tessa use wit, laughter and love to “adapt” to their new lifestyle -- though not without a few culture clashes along the way!
The series also stars Allie Grant (Weeds), Rex Lee (Entourage), Ana Gasteyer (Saturday Night Live) and Alan Tudyk (Knocked Up, Death at a Funeral, 3:10 to Yuma).
