i am trying to decide between a NAD C440 and a parasound TDQ1600 and an AMC tuner. which is the better of the 3 tuners? also, trying to decide between the pre amps- AMC, NAD or parasound. i am not familiar with either product, so ANY advise would be greatly apprieciated. i already have the power amp, it is a NAD C270. THANKS!!!

Since you already have the 270,get the NAD C-160 pre. This way your sound will be at least as good as the C370 integrated. Don`t know about the tuner right now. My C-160 should be delivered this week! Can`t wait!!--Good luck---Pete

I just picked up the AMC T-7a for $279 and it is top flite.

Didn't realize it would make such a difference. FM is not dead!

well, i just ordered a NAD C440 tuner and PARASOUND PHP 850 pre amp to go with the C270. hope i made the right choice. i should have it in a couple of weeks(backorder)....
