I think I'll rent EE since I have the UE, dying to hear Camerons Commentary.

I thought the extras were mostly fluff on the Ultimate, anyway.

Josh,
I never noticed any on my old 27" Wega, so my guess is that your display is just too small to pick it up. Either way, I suggest you take a look at the comparison pictures in the other thread for the EE.

Colin,
I echo your jaw-dropping sentiment :)

Fluff? No way.

Matt...I dont care what it looks like on big displays...thats what happens when you spend too much money on a TV...you see all the little flaws :D

I dont see it on mine...and thats whats important to me...

Yah, I understand Josh. My point was just that what is good for you isn't necessarily good for everyone else. If Neil V has a large display, he's better off getting the EE.

On my little measly 106 inch 16x9 screen :D the EE is definitely better. Cleaner and more film-like. Audio is great as the UE. But the UE has some extraordinary extras! I'm proud to have them both on my shelf.

Did I mention I have a 106 inch 16x9 screen now? :D

I was glad to give up the UE (which was very good) and lose some of the extras for the improved PQ which I can see immediately in my setup.
