I am looking at getting either a pair of klipsch rf-7 loudspeakers cost=$900
or getting a pair of cambridge soundworks t500 loudspeakers cost=$2000
or a pair of definitive tech BP7001sc loudspeakers cost=$1750

I was wondering which one you guys would recommend. The klipsch are just that, klipsch. the cambridge I demoed and really liked, lot's of bass with the built in woofer. Crisp, clean. The definitive tech is a newer brand with great reviews. The speakers are bipole with a built in 10" 1500-watt powered sub.

You need to provide a little more info than that, my friend. What are your listening preferences? What's more important to you, HT or music? How big is the room? What sort of gear are you using or planning to buy?

The more of a picture you can paint for people here, the better they will be able to advise you.

Well, right now I am just running a sony 100w/c receiver but plan to upgrade to a nice one, maybe a Marantz or something, 200w/c likely. I am looking more for a good ht than good music. So I am looking for as much bang, boom, speed, and sound as my money will buy. I will be running them in a living room about 35' by 20'. I have researched speakers for about 3 years now and know a large amount of technical stuff about them, just not too much real life experience with them. My basic limit at this point is $2k for a pair of mains. What I am seriously considering are definitive techhttp://www.definitivetech.com/loudsp...owertower.html or klipschhttp://www.klipsch.com/product/product.aspx?cid=977 or cambridge soundworkshttp://cambridgesoundworks.com/store...item=k1t50zzzz. I have also looked a little into the swan (hivi)http://www.swanspeaker.com/speaker/htm/index.asp?type=A speaker company a little, but am unsure about quality and price on them. If anyone has a better suggestion for that price range, please speak up about it.
