Which AVR ? (1 Viewer)

Hi Guys,
I'm thinking of changing my AV Receiver and I cannot decide between the Denon 3802 and the Onkyo 787. I'm not very good technically and I can really use some advise here.
At the same time, I just managed to get my hands on an LCD projector and I intend to project it onto the wall in my living room before deciding on a screen (in other words, I'm dead broke now). Is there a particular type of paint, colour that I should go for which will give me the best results without sacrificing the look of the entire room?

I'm a DENON man and I feel they make the best all around receivers for the money. They always receive rave reviews in the press.
I'm currently using the 3300.
Onkyo is a quality brand too but between the two I prefer Denon.
