i have a friend whos parents are talking about getting a new TV. whats the main differences between the two? i've heard that plasma TVs like to burn out in quadrants? can anyone elaborate a little more on this?

Burn out in quadrants??? That's a new one I haven't heard. Anyway....what size screen are they looking to purchase and (probably most important) what kind of $$$$$ do they have in the budget?
