What happened to Fight Club? (1 Viewer)

For the better part of a year, the two disc set of Fight Club in a brown package was the DVD on this forum. Now, in search of the set for a friend, I find that the only two disc set available comes in a different and double alpha package. Is this the same software in a new (less interesting) case?

Yes, it's the exact same software, just repackaged in a different case. Fight Club is one of several two-disc sets that Fox put on moratorium for a while (The Abyss, Planet of the Apes, and Sound of Music are others) and replaced with single-disc versions. Recently, Fox rereleased the original two-disc editions, changing only their packaging.

The SE in the brown package is OOP at the moment. Fox is supposed to re-release this and a few other special editions this fall:
