Why is the transfer of this DVD so totally average? Why wasn't it done anamorphically? Wasn't this a hit movie? I don't understand...Canonball Run has an excellent transfer and came out like 8 years before. Why not Weekend at Bernie's? Are there plans for a remaster?

Jay, 'Weekend at Bernies' was not a big success at the box office, it's a shame too, this is one drop dead (did I say that?:b) funny movie!
I wasn't aware that the dvd is not anamorphic, I was thinking of picking it up too, well so much for that.:frowning:
