Want to replace protective screen tw-40x81 (1 Viewer)

I recently had a mishap with my nephew and my t.v. and needless to say, my protective screen on my 40x81 ended up with an ugly scratch in it. I checked the other screens and they seem to be fine, so I guess the protective screen did it's job, but the scratch is still very noticeable. I ended up taking off the protective screen, and I actually prefer it on. I know I can get a replacement protective screen through Toshiba for like 90.00, but my question is, can I get a screen made out of glass, and if so, where and how would I go about this. Any help would be great. Thanks
