Well I maxed+ out my rack -- 3 Direct TiVos, 1 Standalone TiVo, Onkyo, proscan vcr, Sony 5 disc sacd, Toshiba DVD-A switchbox and vedio distribution. I may have to put cooling fans in the rack one Directivo is running 54 deg c!

Mark,
Yeesh that's too much stuff for me.. I just have the VCR,DVD
the Onk and a Pio EQ which is going in the garbage.
The Parasound would look nice in thier though.. Mebbe Later :D
I dunno what else to put in there I am not into Tivo and
I don't have DSS at the moment.. I may in the future.. I do
need "something" to fill some of the empty space though (gee isn't that a great reason to buy something?) I am going
to make the PE Plate Amps into a set of Mono Block looking
jobs and mount those in the rack. :)

If you do get a DSS consider getting a Direct Tivo. It is the neatest piece of A/V that I have gotten, but its like drinking the juice:D you will never watch tv live again.
I wish I had thought of what you did with your speakers with mine. I have ESS monitors that have a 10" and a 10" passive radiator, the bass has always been weak but it has the ability to be bi wired. But I spent allot of money on a sub instead :frowning: . Now I wish I had built my own. But then again I wouldnt have known how good a sub could be. Post some pictures when you get it done.

Mark,
I will post pictures for sure. It's going to be a while
before I buy the PE Plate Amps and get the box for them
complete. My whole house is in shambles right now doing
whole home renovations. But when i get the dust settled
I am going to start on these BiAmps for the 10's.
The AR5 and AR9 have been proven to hit 100DB @32Hz which
isn't bad for a Tower. It's never going to be like a true
dedicated sub like any DIY'r can do or an SVS. But it will
add fullness to the music and I can always add another true
dedicated sub later on (which I planned to do) and with
some careful crossover I can use a dedicated sub to just do
say 30Hz and lower.. Leave from 20Khz down to 30Hz for the
mains to produce. Of course that will require more in depth
bass management than the Onk provides.. I am just thinking
long term, because I can't see me ditching my AR9's any
time soon and even if I did I would again go with near or
full range towers. :)

I bi-amp my NHT VT-2's (front/rear) with 225 watts to the highs/mids, and 250 watts to the lows. The sound production that I got from this set up is my mids are more vocal (more presense), and my bass is not boomy.
