This film DID just make it's debute on DVD this past week right? If so how come the case and the disc appear to be from 4 years ago with a non anamorphic LD transfer? [IMG]

How many versions are they're of this film on DVD?

Yeah, I felt cheated, too. The transfer sucks...and I believe it's the first time on DVD. So does this mean they'll release a better transfer in the future so that they can nab more of our money?

As a catalog title, I would doubt a re-issue in the near future.

    I'll just keep my laserdisc.

Thanks a bunch Disney for setting DVD back about 5 years, it's as if the whole 16x9 revolution never happened. [IMG]

You should be ashamed of yourselves for this really, in this day and age you release a transfer like this, an old LD transfer!?

It makes no sense whatsoever, your better than this.

I agree. There is absolutely no excuse for a new DVD to be widescreen and not enhanced for 16x9 TVs these days.

    No excuse. [IMG]
