I guess this was released on blu-ray back in November. Who knew. Where ever it was possible, the director used 35mm footage for this film, so it should look pretty good. Plus it has a fantastic score recorded by the Moscow Symphony Orchestra

I own it. It is widescreen now, so i assume it is slightly cropped. It does look good, for what it is. The only thing i noticed thats missing, is the lame 3D stuff. Other than that, its all on the Blu-ray. I thought it was worth the upgrade.

I would love to get this. I think it's a bit of a shame that they've made it wide screen, given that the old footage would have had to be cropped.

I believe that the regular DVD of this title in its latest incarnation on Amazon is also widescreen - however, you can get the full frame version of the DVD from VCE, who sell the discs online - but possibly only as part of the Atomic Bomb Collection. If you buy the Atomic Bomb Collection on DVD from Amazon, you only get the widescreen version of the Trinity film (that's my understanding anyway).

It would be great to see all of those movies in Bluray - but not cropped please...

Oh yeah if its cropped I'll stick with my DVD copy. Hopefully they will do a 1.33:1 version on blu-ray sometime soon.
