Toshiba 50H72 owners--HELP! (1 Viewer)

I'm seriously thinking of purchasing this TV, but I need a specific measurement before I can commit...

I have a floor-->ceiling opening which is 40.5" wide, and since the 50H72 is apparently 42" wide, I will have to live with the front part of the TV sticking out of the recessed area...the question is, how much will stick out?

Could someone please measure the TV as if you were pushing it backward into a 40.5" opening, then, measure how much would stick out?

...hopefully that's not confusing...thanks in advance!!

What I'm getting at is knowing how much I can tuck back into the recess...Hitachi has by far the best site for detailing their product, and spec sheets like this:

Are what I need (P & I measures from pdf)...but for the Toshiba 50H72...
