Anybody notice the Sony TiVo sitting beside the TV in Monica and Chandler's apartment on last night's episode?
Is this the first time one has appeared inside a TV show?
Certainly not surprising that it would be an NBC show.

I noticed it too. At first I didn't know if it was really a Tivo or one of those other video recorders, but then I used my Tivo to rewind, played it back, and spotted the Tivo logo.

I saw it too! They sure made sure the logo was visible there!
I'm not sure if this is the first. I could swear I saw a TiVo appearance last season but for the life of me I can't remember which show.

A sticker or fridge magnet bearing the TiVO logo has appeared on Joey's fridge for at least the last couple of seasons.

Last night's "The Ellen Show" had a plot that revolved around Ellen using her Tivo to tape Judge Judy so they wounldn't have to watch it during dinner.
