Although better known today for her work writing children’s books, novelist and poet Rachel Field had some her works turned into movies. Two of her bestsellers – All This, and Heaven Too (1940) plus And Now Tomorrow (1944) – got the Hollywood treatment while she also contributed special lyrics for Franz Schubert’s Ave Maria in Walt Disney’s Fantasia. Her third bestselling adult fiction novel – Time Out of Mind – took nearly a dozen years from publication to film adaptation. Kino has licensed the movie from Universal for its home video debut.
