Just wondering if anyone else has heard this. I think the opening track "In The Land Of The Blind" is fantastic, right down to the George Harrison-esque guitar and backing vocals, but it feels like he blew his wad on that one track and the rest of the album kind of falls flat for me, like a lot of the music he's put out in the last 20 years. Still, at 68, I admire the fact that he's still making new music.
For reference, the last "new" RS album I bought was Karma in 1999 and I think it's been about that long since I listened to it. I actually prefer his 70s material to his 80s material; Comic Book Heroes (1973) and Wait For Night (1976) are my 2 favorite albums of his.
Thoughts?
