My best friend just watched this movie and hated it. My first viewing of it was during its theatrical run back when I was a youngster. Today, I still like the movie! One of the great social comedies of the ‘60s.
Alan Arkin and Theo Bikel are treasures!

I can understand why that's the case. The movie isn't for everybody.Sadly, I never liked this film either. I really should give this another chance as it has been years since I last saw it.
What’s to loose? If you don’t like it again, you don’t have to watch again!Sadly, I never liked this film either. I really should give this another chance as it has been years since I last saw it.
According to the Announcement thread it'll be a slight improvement. Same transfer as before but on a 50GB disc instead of 25GB so it'll have a higher bit rate.Love this movie. Hope this is an improvement on the last bluray.
“Egermency! People to get from street!”
That could be a major improvement. Kino won't let us down.According to the Announcement thread it'll be a slight improvement. Same transfer as before but on a 50GB disc instead of 25GB so it'll have a higher bit rate.
I agree. I'll do a double-dip on a Kino release before one from any other distributor. That could be a major improvement. Kino won't let us down.
