I'm waiting for an informed opinion about the quality of the transfer of this one. If people whose opinions I trust say it's good, I'll buy. If it's just another lousy MGM transfer, I'll stick with the DVD.

If I remember correctly, this film has an "I am Spartacus" scene. I might watch the DVD again in the next few days.

I'm looking forward to this one. I love these old sword and sandal films. Peplum or whatever the correct term is.
