A month ago, I purchased season 1 of "The Lost World" at Best Buy but only just discovered that Disc 2 in the set would not play on my Sony DVD/VCR but would play on my DVD-ROM. It just would never load at all.
I managed to exchange it today a month later but found that the same disc in the new box still will not play on my main machine, leaving me absolutely baffled about what I should do. If I want to watch the disc, I can watch it on my DVD-ROM but it is annoying that I can't watch it on my main player on my TV but since this seems to be my player not reacting to this particular disc, I have no idea what to do whether I should just live with it and wait for the day when I have a different main player or keep exchanging this until I find one that works.
