What is “proper HDR grading?” The film was never HDR graded.A complete restoration of the black and white original, complete with proper HDR grading, would be something, I'd reckon.
I think he's trying to say "a steady hand at the tiller", meaning that HDR should be applied [if at all] delicately. What is “proper HDR grading?” The film was never HDR graded.
Of course it was never HDR graded; I just meant that, when the print would get prepared for its 2160 transfer, the engineers and color graders would hopefully apply the pass delicately and with proper care, being that we're talking about a black and white horror/terror classic (as seen on releases like Psycho). What is “proper HDR grading?” The film was never HDR graded.
I disagree wholeheartedly, but it's all subjective in this area.It was a truly horrible remake.
