Well I love Warner and I love HD! :)

I'm glad that this is coming out on the HD formats as well. I have the SD release of the theatrical edit so I'll definitely be double dipping (In HD this time) for this new cut. The movie isn't perfect, but I still enjoyed it.

Not sure if this was mentioned in another thread somewhere or not but here goes...

Troy (theatrical) at 163 minutes is itself, fairly long. I assume that it would have fit most of the 30Gb of available space on the hd-dvd. I am a little worried that with this even longer 198 min version being crammed into the same space, quality might have to be sacrificed somewhat. I also question how Warner will use the available space for the 2 formats for this particular release. Will the same "exact" encode be used for a blu-ray version and the hd-dvd version... resulting in ~20Gb of unused space on the blu-ray version? I wish I could somehowfind that out but that info is hard to come by.
